On November 16, 2025 the Evo & Art Experience, an evocative tour through the Amelia hills, from Amelia to Lugnano in Teverina, in the heart of the Amerino Tipico region, to discover the places of Germanicus and ancient Rome.

The initiative is part of the Frantoi Aperti in Umbria 2025 program.

The rolling hills and plains of the Amerino region are not only destinations of great scenic beauty, but also home to gastronomic excellence such as Rajo and Moraiolo extra virgin olive oils, renowned for their exquisite organoleptic characteristics and recognized by the Slow Food community. This area is also home to Olea Mundi, one of the world’s largest collections of olive tree varieties.

An itinerary that combines flavors, art, and history, for an unforgettable experience in the heart of Umbria.

Program for November 16, 2025

  • 10:30 am departure from Narni – Amelia train station
  • Visit to Alviano Castle
  • Visit to Lugnano in Teverina and the “Olea Mundi” olive tree collection
  • Visit to an olive oil mill with tasting
  • Visit to the centuries-old Rajo olive grove
  • Visit to Amelia
  • 4:30 pm return to Terni

The price per person in a double room includes:

  • Overnight stay with breakfast on November 16th in a 3-star hotel in Terni
  • Full-day shuttle bus on November 16th

    An experience focused on understanding the ancient and fascinating culture of extra virgin olive oil in Umbria and its art; an itinerary, built around the interpretations of extra virgin olive oil and art, which leads to the discovery of Umbria’s landscape and historical-artistic values, closely linked to the region’s unique food and wine products.

      The itinerary will lead you to discover Umbria’s green gold: Extra Virgin Olive Oil, traversing a territory rich in history and stories of its glorious past, centered around Trebbiano Spoletino.

      1° day

      Arrival in the early afternoon and free walk around Spoleto, city of the Festival dei Due Mondi and more recently known as the setting for the TV series “Don Matteo”. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the historic city center, rich in artistic and cultural treasures, which have been made famous in recent years by the filming of “Don Matteo”. Throughout the year, the city offers entertainment opportunities such as festivals, exhibitions, and shows. Spoleto is a human-scale city, ideal for exploring on foot or by bike, and is an optimal starting point for our tours. Overnight stay in accommodation.

      2° day

      After breakfast, we will move near Trevi to visit the Museum of Olive Civilization and stop at an olive oil mill for a tasting of extra virgin olive oil. There’s an option to organize a bicycle ride along the Olive Belt that connects Spoleto to Assisi. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon, we continue to Campello sul Clitunno for a stroll through the village. Visit with a tasting at a Trebbiano Spoletino winery. Overnight stay in accommodation.

      3° day

      After breakfast, before returning to your destination, we suggest a stop at the Marmore Falls, with entrance to the park.
