On November 16, 2025 the Evo & Art Experience, an evocative tour through the Amelia hills, from Amelia to Lugnano in Teverina, in the heart of the Amerino Tipico region, to discover the places of Germanicus and ancient Rome.

The initiative is part of the Frantoi Aperti in Umbria 2025 program.

The rolling hills and plains of the Amerino region are not only destinations of great scenic beauty, but also home to gastronomic excellence such as Rajo and Moraiolo extra virgin olive oils, renowned for their exquisite organoleptic characteristics and recognized by the Slow Food community. This area is also home to Olea Mundi, one of the world’s largest collections of olive tree varieties.

An itinerary that combines flavors, art, and history, for an unforgettable experience in the heart of Umbria.

  • Visit to Alviano Castle
  • Visit to Lugnano in Teverina and the “Olea Mundi” olive tree collection

The Tour Evo & Art Experience is an itinerary to discover the historic sites that showcase the tradition of terracotta production in the Orvieto Hills, between Orvieto and Castel Viscardo, and the region’s excellent olive oil products. The route winds through artisan workshops and museums that preserve evidence of an art that has flourished since the Etruscan period, when clay processing found fertile ground in the rich availability of materials in the surrounding hills and in the presence of several historic and important river and land routes, which contributed to the development of trade and the region.

        The Grande Pedalata Lungo la Fascia Olivata Assisi – Spoleto – 2025 is the opening event of Frantoi Aperti in Umbria.

        Sunday 19 October 2025 in Umbria there is the Grande Pedalata lungo la Fascia Olivata Assisi – Spoleto (Trevi – Campello sul Clitunno section) and in the places of the UNESCO serial site “The Lombards in Italy: places of power” (568-774 AD) and of Perugino.

        An experience that combines nature, cycle tourism, food and wine, the enhancement of artistic heritage and the promotion of the places of production of extra virgin olive oil. which are increasingly becoming multifunctional places, welcoming and hosting events, tastings and offering oil tourism experiences in the company.

        The route of La Grande Pedalata takes place in a group, with departure and arrival together. The group will be guided and assisted along the entire route. The route includes a visit to the Museum of the Olive Tree Civilization, the Pissignano Castle, the Clitunno Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of the serial site “The Lombards in Italy. Places of Power (568-774 AD), a visit and a buffet lunch with typical Umbrian products in a concert.

          1° day

          Arrival in the early afternoon and free walk around Spoleto, city of the Festival dei Due Mondi and more recently known as the setting for the TV series “Don Matteo”. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the historic city center, rich in artistic and cultural treasures, which have been made famous in recent years by the filming of “Don Matteo”. Throughout the year, the city offers entertainment opportunities such as festivals, exhibitions, and shows. Spoleto is a human-scale city, ideal for exploring on foot or by bike, and is an optimal starting point for our tours. Overnight stay in accommodation.

          2° day

          After breakfast, we will move near Trevi to visit the Museum of Olive Civilization and stop at an olive oil mill for a tasting of extra virgin olive oil. There’s an option to organize a bicycle ride along the Olive Belt that connects Spoleto to Assisi. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon, we continue to Campello sul Clitunno for a stroll through the village. Visit with a tasting at a Trebbiano Spoletino winery. Overnight stay in accommodation.
